Having been a fan of dance music and Armin van Buuren since 2003, I was inspired to start my own electronic music publication with a very simple, and clear goal - to share electronic music with old, and new fans alike. Working alongside a great team has made me keep that goal alive, and build on it.

Oasis Live ’25 Tour: Accessibility At Heaton Park 2025

The anticipation for “Oasis Live ’25 Tour” creates chills down the spines of Oasis’s true fans because it will be more than a string of concerts, but a reunion with the English band that has been off the radar for nearly two decades now.

Their last tour, “Dig Out Your Soul Tour,” was a great success. It ended in 2009, but with a breakup note, dropped by Noel on the band’s official website. Noel and his brother, Liam, have been solo achievers after their separation. Forming new teams and creating individual kingdoms in the music industry for the years between 2010 and 2022.

The “Oasis Live ’25 Tour” is going to be their first performance together since their separation in 2009, and they’ve both shared their excitement on the matter. It also appears that Oasis fans will have more than they bargained for, as both brothers are intending to rock their upcoming Europe gigs with some of their newly found band members.

Oasis’ first concert will be held at the Principality Stadium, which is located in Cardiff, Wales, on the 4th of July. The band only scheduled two gigs there, so the second gig will be held on the 5th of July. After which they move to England, where they’ll host a string of 10 gigs in both Manchester, their hometown, and London.

The 5 gigs in their hometown, Manchester, will be held at Heaton Park, a public park with an outstanding recorded concert attendance of 210k, which was created by the same Oasis back in 2009 before their separation. You can already see how magical the reunion will be in your head, innit?

We’ll be looking at how accessibility is at Heaton Park for those Oasis fans who’ve never been there. And for those whom it has been a couple of years since the last time they visited there, considering that a lot has changed. So, enjoy the read.

Accessibility At Heaton Park—Manchester, London

Heaton Park is one of the iconic venues in Manchester, London, with a vast functionality. The people of Manchester use Heaton Park for many adventures and events, such as golfing and bowling. Based on its numerous functionalities, it’s fair to assume that Heaton Park is an accessible arena, which is what we aim to explore with this article.

European Accessibility Act (EAA)

The European Accessibility Act connects the dots on all aspects of barrier-free movements within Europe. It covers all areas of human relations, ensuring that people with special needs get to surf through life without worries about their limitations standing in the way.
With the “Oasis Live ’25 Tour” coming up, this same act will ensure that Oasis fans get to Heaton Park and experience Oasis in a way that’ll remain in their memories forever. The European Accessibility Act covers four main areas of concerted concerns.

  • Public transportation systems
  • Banking services
  • E-commerce platforms
  • Digital devices like smartphones and ATMs

These four areas sum up life in all senses. We use public transportation as a better alternative for attending concerts, and we rely mostly on online banking services to sort our bank activities. E-commerce platforms have also been the easiest places to secure Oasis tickets, especially since ticket presales began and scarcity arose.

So, you can imagine how difficult it would be if such places weren’t accessible to Oasis fans who need special assistance using such things. The European Accessibility Act ensures that everything needed to make life easy and fun, including public spaces such as Heaton Park and other services, is made easily accessible for everyone.

Venue Accessibility Features

Having looked through whether or not Manchester’s Heaton Park aligns with the European Accessibility Act, the next thing we did was to check out the unique accessibility features that the Heaton Park has, which will assist both normal fans and those who may need assistance accessing the venue and other areas within it.

To put into points, these unique accessibility features are:

● Ramps
● Accessible Seating
● Restrooms
● Elevators

The availability of these features ensures a sweet concert experience for all fans, and we’re glad that Manchester’s Heaton Park has most of these in place. In Heaton Park, there are ramps or slopes available for fans with wheelchairs to easily access the park. The ramps or slopes are located just before getting to the main entrance of the park.

There are also restrooms available for fans’ convenience. So also are accessible seatings, where wheelchair users can sit with their companions. In essence, we checked and found that Heaton Park is well built to receive and accommodate all Oasis fans amidst the “Oasis Live ’25 Tour,” so y’all can expect to have a good time in Manchester.

Booking Accessible Tickets

In the course of our research adventure of how accessible the Heaton Park is, we discovered that two types of tickets can be booked for a concert at the Heaton Park. Not that these tickets are sold at the park, but wherever you’re getting them from, most are restricted to these two categories:

● Accessibility Seats
● Standing Access

The reason for this is that Heaton Park is a wide area of open field, and there aren’t a lot of seats available. From our research, we discovered that you can either book tickets as a fan who needs special accessible seats or as a normal fan.
As a normal fan, you’ll get the general admission tickets, which will see you standing through Oasis concerts. But that’s how concerts are rocked, innit?

Support Services for Attendees

Now we discovered that there are amazing support services that collectively make concert experiences in Europe, bae. And the fact that these support services cover all fans, in this case, Oasis fans, makes it even more interesting.

These services are mostly in the form of:

● Assistive devices
● Interpreters
● Sensory-Friendly Zones
● Trained Staff

The availability of trained staff ensures that every one of the tens of thousands of Oasis fans who would be at the Heaton Park starting on the 11th of July gets attended to on a special level. This means you’ll be provided with an appropriate guide on how to go about things at the park and also how to locate certain places within the park.

In the case of Oasis fans who would need special assistance, there would be trained staff to ensure you slide easily into the park and you get the right direction to the toilets for your convenience. That makes sense, right?

Traveling and Parking Tips

We decided to add the travelling and parking tips section for Oasis fans who would want to attend Oasis concerts at Heaton Park using public transportation or personal cars. First off, attending Oasis’ Heaton Park concert with a personal car is a bad idea because parking would be a hassle.

In most cases, parking spaces are allocated, but they become filled up in no time due to the number of fans who would be attending the concert.

So, in essence, attending an Oasis concert with public transportation is the best way. This also leaves you with three options:

● By Train
● By Bus
● By Metro

If you choose to go by bus, know that there isn’t any bus stop within 164 yards of Heaton Park. Opting for the train or metro, however, leaves you at the Manors rail station or Byker metro station. So, plan your movements well ahead.

Conclusion

Our aim with this article was to explore Heaton Park and see if it is accessible and convenient for the “Oasis Live ’25 Tour.” Thankfully, we not only found that it is accessible, but that its management carries the comfort of all spectators at heart, making it the best venue for Oasis’s reunion with their fans in Manchester.

That explains the availability of restrooms and slopes. Also, the multiple options for getting to the venue, regardless of where you are in Manchester.

The Heaton Park’s unique accessibility features also ensure that you or your friend who might need special assistance while at the Oasis concert get it without stressing. So, nothing is stopping you from potentially having a good time with Oasis at Manchester’s Heaton Park in 2025.
