Schedule

The “Rammstein Stadium Tour” had a very tight scheduling to the extent that some countries in North America like Canada had just 1 night in the fixtures. However, let’s see how many dates; cities in Germany had to host the band in the 1st and 2nd leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour.”

1st Leg – Germany

During the 1st leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour” in Germany, the band visited Germany 5 different times. The 1st time the band visited Germany was when they started their 7th career tour, which was on the 23rd of May, 2019.

Rammstein spent 5 nights in Germany, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th and 28th of May, and the concert was held in Veltins-Arena. The band left Germany in early June, but came back on the 8th, landing in Munich, and performing in Olympiastadion for 2 nights.

Then they went to Dresden and performed in Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion for 2 nights, and finally Rostock, performing in Ostseestadion for 1 night. The band went to Denmark and back to Germany, to perform in Berlin, on the 22nd of June, 2019. Rammstein then visited Hanover in Germany and performed in HDI Arena.

The last place the German band visited in Germany during the 1st leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour” was Frankfurt, where they performed in Commerzbank-Arena. Altogether, Rammstein organized 13 concerts in Germany during the 1st leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour.”

2nd Leg – Germany

During the 2nd leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour,” Rammstein organized a total of 10 concerts in Germany. Their first visit in the 2nd leg was on the 20th of May, 2022, and they performed in Red Bull Arena, which is located in Leipzig.

The band revisited Berlin in the 2nd leg of their tour, and that was on the 4th and 5th of June, 2022. Then they went to Stuttgart on the 10th of June, and then Hamburg on the 14th and 15th of June, 2022.

Rammstein then visited Düsseldorf on the 18th and 19th of June, performing in Merkur Spiel-Arena, making it the last city they visited in Germany during the 2nd leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour.”

Comparing the 4th and 5th legs of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour” with the 1st and 2nd leg, we found that Rammstein fans in Germany had more allocations of dates compared to any other country in Europe. The only explanation for this love is the fact that Rammstein is a German band, and they seem to place the entertainment of their home country above any other.

Attendance

There’ve been numerous cases where Rammstein broke their attendance record since they began the “Rammstein Stadium Tour.” In this part of the article, we’ll sum up the attendance Rammstein pulled in Germany from the 1st and 2nd leg of their tour.

1st Leg – Germany

For cities where Rammstein performed for more than 1 night, the number will be multiplied by X to get the sum of attendance.

For instance, Rammstein had 2 concerts in Munich, and the attendance recorded was 121,250k on a single night. This means that Rammstein had the chance to entertain 242,500k in Munich for the 2 nights they were there.

2nd Leg – Germany

Even though Rammstein organised 10 concerts in Germany during the 2nd leg of their tour, the attendance they were able to pull in showed that their fans are always ready to engage their craft.

Rammstein pulled in 501,502k people from the 5 cities they visited in Germany during the 2nd leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour.”

Aside from the fact that this is a staggering number, it clarifies the fact that it is not about visiting many places but visiting the right places. Rammstein visited more cities in Germany during the 1st leg of their tour.

But, the number of people that turned up for their concerts in the 2nd leg of their tour is more than the number of people that came for their concerts during the 1st leg of the tour.

Revenue

Rammstein reportedly cashed in more than $64 million by the end of 2018, when ticket presales for the “Rammstein Stadium Tour” began. Judging from the number of fans that have been attending their concerts, it’s arguable that the “Rammstein Stadium Tour” is on its way to being categorized as a billion-dollar tour.

In this part of the article, we’ll be looking at the revenue Rammstein received from the 1st and 2nd leg of their tour in Germany.

1st Leg – Germany

Summing the revenue generated in the 1st and 2nd leg of the “Rammstein Stadium Tour” gives $107,549,146.

If Germany could generate this income to Rammstein within the 1st and 2nd leg of their tour, think of how much the German band will have generated from Germany alone, by the time they conclude the 5th leg of their tour, which is focused on Europe as well.

Also, think of how much the band has been able to raise from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th leg of their tour that have since been concluded, and the 5th leg that counting down to conclusion as well
