Donald Trump Taunts Taylor Swift With Savage Super Bowl Dig at Eagles Celebration

Donald Trump couldn’t resist stirring the pot during the Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House after their 2025 Super Bowl win. While hyping up the Eagles’ season, the 78-year-old president took a cheeky jab at Taylor Swift, 35, and the Kansas City Chiefs , especially considering Swift’s high-profile relationship with Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Trump told the crowd that the Eagles’ showdown against the Chiefs was “a little surprising” but still “an incredible game.” He made sure everyone knew he was at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, pointing out, “I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out?” He couldn’t resist repeating the dig for extra laughs, reminding everyone of the Chiefs’ loss.

It’s not the first time Trump’s taken shots at Swift. Back in September 2024, after Swift endorsed his presidential rival Kamala Harris, Trump let loose on Truth Social with a blunt “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” He doubled down the next day on Fox & Friends, calling her “very liberal” and hinting that she might “pay a price” for her political opinions.

Aside from taking playful swipes, Trump praised the Eagles’ iconic “tush push” play and gave props to players like Saquon Barkley. He even invited some players, like Lane Johnson, to say a few words at the podium.

Noticeably missing from the day’s events was Eagles’ quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, along with several other big names like DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown. NBC News reporter Yamiche Alcindor confirmed the absences were due to “scheduling conflicts,” though it definitely left a few eyebrows raised. John Clark from NBC Philly also noted that a lot of the defense squad missed out too.

Still, Trump made sure to shout out Hurts during his speech, calling him a “terrific player” despite his absence. Between jabs at Taylor Swift and celebrating the Eagles’ win, Trump definitely made the White House visit one to remember.
