The internet is buzzing after fans noticed that Travis Kelce has unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on social media, and it’s stirring up even more drama between Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, and Justin Baldoni.
Swifties spotted the unfollow over the weekend on Reddit, and now multiple outlets are picking up the story. No one’s confirmed exactly why Travis hit the unfollow button, but Page Six reports it might be his way of distancing himself from Blake’s messy legal battle with Baldoni.
In case you missed it, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against her It Ends with Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni back in December 2024. She accused him and his production partner of sexual harassment and running a nasty smear campaign against her. Justin fired back, denying everything and countersuing Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist for defamation and civil extortion. Blake later filed to dismiss his countersuit, and the trial is set for March 2026.
Now Travis’ social media move comes right after a source told PEOPLE that Taylor Swift was “really hurt” about getting dragged into the legal drama. According to Justin’s countersuit, Taylor allegedly supported Blake’s script rewrites during a rooftop meeting, and he accused Blake of using her famous friends to pressure him. The whole situation apparently took a toll on Taylor, even though sources say Blake always knew she and Taylor would eventually patch things up. Thankfully, it sounds like they’ve made peace, but the scars are definitely there.
Taylor hasn’t made any public comments about the case yet, and it doesn’t look like Travis, Ryan, or Blake’s reps have said anything either. Taylor and Blake have been close friends since 2015, and Taylor’s even the godmother to Blake and Ryan’s four kids , James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. Travis and Taylor have also spent plenty of time double-dating with Blake and Ryan, and the couple showed up to support Travis at a bunch of Chiefs games this season.
Now with this sudden unfollow, it seems like things behind the scenes might still be a little awkward. We’ll have to wait and see if anyone actually speaks up about what’s really going on, but for now, it’s clear the drama is far from over.
