Gisele Bündchen just gave fans a sweet surprise on Mother’s Day by finally revealing the first photos of her new baby boy.
The Brazilian supermodel, 44, has been flying under the radar ever since the news of her son’s birth broke back in February, and now she’s explaining why. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Gisele opened up about being “quiet” online lately, saying she’s been soaking in life offline and embracing “slower rhythms” and “real connections.”
She hasn’t announced her baby’s name yet, but the post came with several adorable snapshots. One showed Gisele cuddling her infant, who wore a white “I ❤️ Mom” onesie, resting peacefully against her chest. Another photo gave fans a peek at her blended family, featuring her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente; their new son; and her two children – Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12 – from her previous marriage to NFL legend Tom Brady.

Gisele used the special occasion to honor her late mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, who passed away in January 2024 at 75. She got emotional in the caption, writing how she especially missed her mom this Mother’s Day but still felt her heart was full. “Being a mother has been my greatest gift,” she said, describing motherhood as a journey that constantly humbles and teaches her. She wrapped the message with a powerful tribute to moms everywhere: “Your love shapes the world in ways words can’t describe.”
The news of Gisele’s baby first made headlines on February 5, with TMZ confirming the arrival. But the journey started way before that. PEOPLE exclusively revealed her pregnancy back in October 2024. According to sources, Gisele was planning a home birth and was glowing with happiness leading up to it. One insider even said she seemed “the happiest she’s ever been.”
Joaquim Valente, her jiu-jitsu instructor turned partner, was just as thrilled. The same source shared that the pregnancy was a happy surprise for both of them and that Joaquim was “excited for the baby to arrive.”
Clearly, Gisele has been all about living in the moment lately, keeping things private and focusing on family.
