Twitch star and political commentator Hasan Piker – aka HasanAbi – is caught in another storm after a tweet allegedly from 2012 resurfaced, dragging him into the Diddy party scandal discourse.
It all started on April 17, 2025, when tech entrepreneur Dan Saltman dropped the bomb, accusing Hasan of defamation and posting what he claims is a screenshot of a wild old tweet.
The tweet, supposedly posted on December 20, 2012, reads: “I would love to hang in Diddy’s Ciroc Entourage and trickle down bang anything thrown his way.” Saltman shared the image online shortly after Hasan allegedly referred to him as a “diddler,” prompting this unexpected online beef.
Saltman didn’t stop there. He went on a full X-thread rampage, claiming that Hasan visited a brothel later busted for human trafficking and that he tried to get into Diddy’s infamous parties. He questioned why shows like The Daily Show still invite Hasan on when these “receipts” are floating around.

One of Saltman’s most sarcastic digs came with a post saying, “We appreciate you purchasing our software to delete these tweets… JK, Hasan is too cheap to buy our software. He must have manually deleted that the second the Diddy news hit.” For context, Saltman is the CEO of Redact, a tool that helps users wipe old posts – talk about ironic product placement.
Adding fuel to the fire, Saltman also claimed that Hasan once called the cops on an ex and disrespected sex workers, promising “more receipts” are on the way. He clarified he has no connection to Diddy, but says Hasan’s past behavior deserves scrutiny now that Diddy’s legal issues are front and center.
As of now, HasanAbi has remained silent. No official statement, no denial, no tweets – just radio silence. Meanwhile, the alleged tweet hasn’t been independently verified, and there’s no confirmation it even existed beyond Saltman’s screenshot.
It’s worth noting that this drama comes at a time when multiple figures in entertainment are under fire for past behavior – and whether or not these allegations stick, the court of public opinion is already buzzing.
What do you think – receipts or reach? Should Hasan respond, or is this just another internet pile-on?
