Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith Split Assets in $2,787-a-Month Deal

Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson have officially settled their divorce nearly two years after the initial filing, hammering out details that cover spousal support, child support, and the custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Juno.

The former couple, who tied the knot in August 2019, reached an agreement that lays out exactly how they plan to split their assets and responsibilities going forward.

The documents, which were obtained by PEOPLE, show that Turner-Smith and Jackson have mutually agreed to waive spousal support or alimony altogether. When it comes to child support, Jackson, who is best known for his role in Dawson’s Creek, will contribute $2,787 a month via wire transfer. These payments will continue until Juno turns 19 or graduates high school, whichever happens first.

As for the costs of Juno’s upbringing, the couple agreed to divide all reasonable expenses equally. This includes medical and health expenses, private school tuition, tutoring, extracurricular activities, camps, and travel costs. They also agreed that they will recalculate child support annually based on their fluctuating incomes, with both parents exchanging their income and expenses from the previous year.

Turner-Smith will keep everything she earned and accumulated prior to, during, and after the marriage. This includes cash, personal belongings like jewelry and watches, art, furniture, appliances, and all of her financial accounts, checking, savings, retirement, and investment. Additionally, she will retain her business entity, Sacred Crow, as well as her royalties and intellectual property stemming from her work as an actress and model and from any commercial or film-related projects. She will also be responsible for her credit card bills.

As for Jackson, he, too, will keep his earnings, cash, personal belongings, and any business interests, including his property in Los Angeles and various business entities. He has also been awarded all insurance proceeds from wildfire losses, vehicles, professional equipment, and intellectual property connected to his film and commercial projects. Similar to Turner-Smith, he will retain his residuals, royalties, and pension plans.

Despite this rather comprehensive settlement, child custody remains unresolved. For now, the couple has agreed to continue with the existing temporary joint legal and physical custody orders, which give them both equal time with Juno. However, they will eventually work out a specific parenting plan that suits everyone involved.

One more key detail from the settlement is the financial payments Jackson has already made to Turner-Smith. In March 2025, he paid her an equalization payment of $133,333, and he’s set to pay an additional $133,333 by May 12, 2025, to help cover her attorney’s fees and costs related to the divorce.

The couple’s divorce came after four years of marriage. Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October 2023, citing September 13, 2023, as their date of separation. That date followed a birthday celebration for Turner-Smith in New York, marking the end of their time together as a married couple. While the divorce settlement has been reached, it’s clear there’s still more to navigate, especially in terms of custody and co-parenting.
