Tish Cyrus and daughter Noah Cyrus are finally back on solid ground, and it’s all thanks to one thing: becoming neighbours.
There were a ton of rumors swirling around that the two weren’t exactly getting along, especially after Tish married Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell in August 2023. But those feud whispers? Seems like they’re dead and gone now.
Tish and Noah opened up about their newly repaired bond on the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, which is usually hosted by Brandi Cyrus. Tish revealed that Noah moved closer this year, and that simple change made all the difference.
“Noah moved this year. That’s been so good for us. Being able to go on our walks and we found our new favorite ice cream truck,” Tish shared, sounding like a mom who just got her kid back.
Noah chimed in too, especially about how close her fiancé Pinkus has become with her mom. “It’s really cute because my fiancé and my mom are really close,” she said. “I love that so much because my past boyfriends my mom has not been close with.”
She even cracked a joke: “Now I’m with a nice little German man.”
Tish had nothing but love for Pinkus, who’s a fashion designer. She called him respectful, driven, sweet, and yeah, totally perfect in her eyes. “He is a man. Honestly, it’s one of the things that I love about him. He’s so respectful and driven and sweet. Honestly I think he is perfect,” she said. “He is so awesome and I could not be happier that you are with him.”
Noah’s totally in the same boat. “Me too,” she said, smiling.
The July singer also got real about wanting to follow in her mom’s footsteps when it comes to family life. Noah shared that she always imagined getting married and having kids in her early 20s, just like Tish did.
“My explanation was always, ‘Well, my mom had her first kid by the time she was 21.’ I don’t think of that as, like, an ‘oopsie age.’ I think of that as, ‘Well, I’ve been working since I was 15. Why couldn’t I have a child or get married in my early 20s?’ That was something I really wanted,” Noah explained.
In case you forgot, Tish was just 26 when she married Billy Ray Cyrus in 1993, while pregnant with their second child, Braison. The Cyrus family tree is massive too, with siblings Miley, Brandi, Trace, Braison, and Christopher Cody all part of the mix.
