Cady has had previous successes under a different moniker, but is ready to take the next step in her career with ‘Nothing Wrong’.
With emotion and energy fuelling the track, she immediately has shown her progression as an artist and ability to create unique tracks for the masses. We caught up with her to learn more about the story behind the track!
T.H.E – So – how did ‘Nothing Wrong’ come about?
It all started with the idea of spreading good vibes with beautiful and inspirational lyrics. I wanted to send a truthful and honest message that was heartfelt and make the world seem right, even though there are many things wrong.
T.H.E – Do you think this is the epitome of the Cady sound?
Cady – I think this is the beginning of a new chapter, where I have more freedom about the message I want to share with the world. Music wise, it will be a constant evolution, since I’m a person who loves to explore new possibilities with music.
T.H.E – How do you feel 2018 has been for you so far?
Cady – It’s been amazing so far. I’ve found who I am as an artist and wrote so many songs I’m about to share with you all. There’s still a lot more to come this year!!
T.H.E – How did the track start – from a simple idea or did you have an idea of how you wanted it to sound pretty quick?
Cady – It started very quickly. I was so involved with the feeling in that moment, I was kind of “stuck” with it. All of that turned out to become a beautiful song. The lyrics came very fast (I tend to write lyrics and to create melodies naturally). I then added the guitar and the rest came pretty fast!!
T.H.E – How long did it take to complete the track, from start to finish?
Cady – Two days. I then had a week break without listening to it at all and went back to it a week later to make all the final adjustments.
T.H.E – Are you looking forward to the summer season?
Of course, big time!! I believe ‘Nothing Wrong’ has all a summer song needs to have; it’s happy, contagious and positive.
T.H.E – Where next for Cady?
Cady – Wow, there’s so much more… I have many other tracks I’m working on to be released between this and next year including collaborations with amazing artists and some exciting projects on the way. I can already announce one of them, which is my own Trio Eletrico (the big truck) in the Brazilian carnival. This is the first trio that will be 100% electronic so it’s a big deal and also a big responsibility. We will have some fantastic guests to be announced in the second half of this year!
