Audio Obscura and Highsnobiety Present the Debut of ‘PRAISE’ at De Nieuwe Kerk With Honey Dijon and ZO! Gospel Choir

On Friday, October 24th, during Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 and in honor of Amsterdam 750, Audio Obscura is staging the world premiere of PRAISE – Honey Dijon x ZO! Gospel Choir at De Nieuwe Kerk.

This marks the first time in the 600-year history of the national monument that it will host electronic music, a bold move that continues Audio Obscura’s reputation for transforming unexpected spaces into cultural milestones.

Pre-registration for tickets is now open via Audio Obscura’s official page, audio-obscura.com, making this one of the most anticipated shows of ADE.

Known for legendary productions such as the Highway Rave and the Rijksmuseum tunnel party, Audio Obscura has built a tradition of blending music with historic or unusual venues. De Nieuwe Kerk, consecrated in 1409 and long associated with royal inaugurations, state ceremonies, and world-class exhibitions, will now witness an unforgettable night of electronic and gospel fusion.

The show features internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Honey Dijon, whose roots in Chicago house and her dynamic blend of house, techno, and disco have made her a global icon. Alongside her is the ZO! Gospel Choir, one of the Netherlands’ premier vocal ensembles, known for high-energy performances spanning soul, R&B, and gospel. The choir has previously collaborated with Diana Ross, Kamasi Washington, and Gregory Porter, and now brings its power to a groundbreaking collaboration with Honey Dijon.

Opening the evening is DJ Juliana X, who fuses her Brazilian heritage with Rotterdam influences, mixing Chicago house, Detroit techno, and unexpected twists like eurodance and acid. She sets the stage for Honey Dijon and the ZO! Gospel Choir’s hour-long performance of music, choreography, and collective energy that promises to be unlike anything seen before at ADE.

This historic moment is supported by Highsnobiety, Audio Obscura’s cultural partner for the event. “Collaborating with Audio Obscura was a natural fit,” said Stefanos Constantinou, VP at Highsnobiety. “They create unforgettable experiences that resonate perfectly with our audiences.” Audio Obscura founder Peter Kan added, “Together we can push cultural boundaries and create a global moment of hope, positivity, and unity.”
