Manila Killa and Hotel Garuda are reuniting for the new collaborative project CHROMEBODIES.
The pair proudly present their inaugural single ’REGENESIS,’ which has been creating a firestorm of anticipation as the two talents teased their new endeavor online.
The newly formed duo are no strangers to one another, possessing a far-reaching history and proven chemistry stretching back for nearly a whole decade. Hotel Garuda was originally formed as a collaborative effort between the two before Manila Killa departed to focus on his solo pursuits. The new alias sees the producers exploring a wide array of high-energy dance music. CHROMEBODIES have been teasing their new sound with a four-pack of weekly released bootlegs branded as ‘SWEAT SEASON 1.’
“REGENESIS” is a high-octane affair that’s built for dancefloors. The hard techno anthem is a rave-ready weapon. Punchy kick drums anchor the track as heady vocal loops created a hypnotic trance. Galloping basslines, gurgling acid stabs, and driving percussion bring the intensity in droves. A spiraling melodic breakdown unites with moody arpeggiations and heavenly choir vocalizations for a transcendent reprieve. The duo’s first official original showcases the potential and potency of what lies ahead for CHROMEBODIES. They will be unveiling the new release during the project’s debut performance at Alter Ego in Brooklyn, presented by Louis The Child, and includes a whole host of exciting talents from the likes of Snakehips, Pauline Herr, Joyryde, The Knocks, and a special surprise back-to-back set from Louis The Child and an artist that has yet to be named.
