Com3t incoming… Fresh off her Ultra Music Festival performance debut, 25-year-old DJ and bass producer Dani Thorne, aka Com3t, is back in electrifying fashion with the release of her new single “Warp Speed,” the final single to be unveiled from her debut EP, THE COSMIC ADVENTURES OF COM3T, out in the coming months via Thrive Music.
“‘Warp Speed is my oddball from the EP. In this adventure, Com3t gets lost in space and needs to fight – to make her way back to Earth to save the humans. I’ve always been obsessed with wormholes and what it would be like to travel through one. This is my sonic representation of that. One of my favorite elements in the track is when I take the main vocal and turn it into the lead synth in the second drop. Falling through a wormhole has never been more fun.” -Com3t
Slated to release Friday, April 14, “Warp Speed” can best be described as Com3t often likes to refer to her live sets – “wavelike,” controlling your body by taking you up, back down and up again. Continuing to showcase her personality and creativity through her artist project, Com3t is in scintillating form, cranking out tracks that speak to her truest musical self.
Most recognized for her hit “Hello Human” with LSDREAM or her guest appearances in Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, Com3t is set to release her first EP later this year, the first single “Take Me To A Rave” having premiered in February. One of the most hands-on artists in the scene, Dani loves creating a mysterious world from a faraway place for her fans to get lost in. Whether that’s through her entrancing bass tracks, intensely vibrant visuals, or even handmade set designs, she’ll have you buying property on her extraterrestrial planet.
Inspired by a lifelong love of science fiction and a childhood of watching films like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica with her father, Com3t’s newest tracks emerge at a time when she’s truly coming into her own as both a musical artist and full-fledged creative.

In addition to touring and working on original music, she recently created a monthly series called Girl On Girl, featuring a multitude of female DJs going back to back, streamed live on social media and posted to Soundcloud. With the series, Dani plans to bring more recognition to female DJs and showcase their raw unedited talent.
Her most recent track “TAKE ME TO A RAVE,” the title track off her debut EP, has been playlisted on Apple Music’s Heavy Hitters and Dubstep Drops, and is already her second-most played track on Spotify, the first being her collaboration on “Hello Human” with LSDREAM.
