After spending months teasing the release of what is now known as EP02, HWLS has finally unleashed his masterful five-track EP.
Wearing his musical heritage with pride, HWLS has taken cues and channelled the energy and ambiance of Perth and the Australian music scene. EP02 serves as the penultimate project proving that his productions have time and time again pushed the boundaries of what is ordinarily expected.

The EP has every kind of sound imaginable, from heavy percussion based tracks that feature sky piercing synths (Alpha), to sultry tunes with low bass lines (Beta), as well as hard-hitting trap-based tracks and hitherto undiscovered soundscapes. Well worth a listen, EP02 showcases all his production prowess and then some. A truly incredible, cohesive body of work.
Having just come off of supporting Flume on spot dates of his world tour, Mura Masa in San Diego as well as just being added to the Emissions West Coast Bass Culture lineup and armed with a ton of new music, 2017 is looking to be HWLS’s biggest year yet.
