Beatport NEXT’s artist 2021 IMANU returns with ‘Somehow We Lost It All’ alongside prodigious talent Pham and Josh Pan via Deadbeats.

IMANU’s latest sliver of glimmer follows the single It’s Our Destiny, which featured SOPHIE and Kendrick Lamar collaborator KUČKA and received support from BBC Radio 1 and an upload from legendary Youtube channel MrSuicideSheep and Trap City. Described as ‘One of electronic music’s most forward-thinking producers” by EDM.com, the 23-year-old Rotterdam based producer continues to exceed expectations with 6 Beatport #10 tracks in the past 12 months alone already under his belt.

Challenging male stereotypes and embracing femininity in bass music, Jonathan Kievit AKA IMANU is breathing remarkably fresh life into the industry that has attracted collaborations with the likes of fellow uniquely unclassifiable spirits such as Sleepnet, Mefjus, Icicle, Black Sun Empire, and Buunshin as well as led to inflammatory remixes for the likes of Skrillex, Noisia, Apashe, TOKiMONSTA, What So Not, and Camo & Krooked.

In addition to co-launching his own underground drum & bass label, DIVIDID, IMANU, the highly distinctive producer has channelled an emotive and story-telling musical style into releases on renowned labels such as VISION, Never Say Die, UKF, Mau5trap, Critical, Invisible, Renegade Hardware, and RAM.

Returning to the Deadbeats label, breakthrough Polish producer Pham contributes his signature cutting edge, genre-blending style to ‘Somehow We Lost It All’. Known for colossal hits such as Movements (feat. Young Fusion) which boasts over 300M streams across all online platforms and a championship from Diplo, Pham has racked up considerable acclaim and recognition remixing for the likes of Danny Brown and Azealia Banks and performing at infamous stages such as Middlelands and Red Rocks.

Reuniting with IMANU for their second musical collision, renowned producer and singer-songwriter josh pan contributes the spine-tingling vocals that graced Supersonic (My Existence), the Skrillex and Noisia track that collected over 27M Spotify streams and maintained top 10 Beatport chart positions for over a week straight. Not limited to one genre or style, Josh Pan has worked with luminaries from Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs to Anderson .Paak, solidifying his name in the music world as a diverse and experienced professional.

IMANU’s third and by no means final release on the prestigious label Deadbeats, ‘Somehow We Lost It All’ is a beautifully structured and articulated mosaic of three enormously talented and individual artists. Poignant lyrics accentuated by IMANU’s signature emotionally rich production style evolve into a carefully orchestrated disorder of spliced vocals and glitchy melodies to die for.

IMANU, PHAM, josh pan – ‘Somehow We Lost It All’ is out April 29th via Deadbeats.
