KERO, the innovative melodic colour bass artist, is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of his brand new EP, ‘Neon’, scheduled to hit the airwaves on the 5th of July.
The EP, featuring four captivating tracks, will be released under the esteemed label, Circus Electric, showcasing KERO’s unique blend of bass-driven sounds.
The EP kicks off with the mesmerising track “Neon Love Song,” a sonic journey that captures the essence of KERO’s experimental vision. This vibrant opening sets the stage for an immersive listening experience that takes the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions. From the captivating melodies of “Operator” to the introspective depths of “Unspoken,” KERO effortlessly weaves together intricate soundscapes, creating a tapestry of sonic exploration. One of the highlights of the EP is the collaboration with fellow artist DNAKM on the track “Maybe I.” This collaboration brings together their unique styles, resulting in a synergistic masterpiece that showcases the immense talent of both artists.
In KERO’s own words, “I wrote this EP as a way to experiment with a lighter/poppier side I’ve been inspired by lately, while fusing it with the colour bass sound I’ve been developing over the last few years. I wanted to give listeners a sort of lighter anthem to listen to whenever they want to feel like someone’s really listening. Circus Electric seemed like the perfect fit for this kind of experimentation, and I cannot wait for people to hear it!”
