Dance music supergroup KUU have unveiled their debut EP ‘How To Change Your Mind’, out 9th July on Warner Records / Higher Ground.

A five-track release, ‘How To Change Your Mind’ is characterised by the kind of spiritual, transcendental house music that is quickly becoming KUU’s trademark sound.

The EP opens with the majestic grooves of the trio’s most recent single ‘Dancing In The Dark’, a track that has received strong support from Kiss FM, and May single ‘Gimme Your Love’, a refined house cut that’s brimming with ethereal dancefloor energy.

Next up, Shungudzo’s sensual vocals take centre stage on the upbeat, soul-tinged ‘Lucky’, and the fluttering percussion of ‘Nothing Like You’. ‘Voices’ then combines brooding melodies, poignant breakdowns and soaring vocals to ensure the EP is closed out on a high note.

Bursting onto the scene last year, KUU have already drawn praise from the likes of Pete Tong and Annie Mac, amassing over 10 million combined streams with singles ‘How Could I Ever’ and ‘We’ll Always Have This Dance’ while remixing prestigious acts such as Dua Lipa and Foals.

The trio have also worked with rising star TSHA, whose remix was lauded by prolific powerhouse producer Mark Ronson and music megastar Diplo on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Future Sounds’ show back in February.

Like the best ideas, KUU took on a life of its own before they’d even had a chance to make any firm plans. Shungudzo, Alex Metric and Riton are mere conduits for a story that has already been written.

“The project is one of the best and most exciting of the year” CULTR Mag mentioned last year, where feeling, intuition, vibe and energy are the driving force, leading to a series of original cuts and edits that are full of authenticity.

Their largest body of work to date, ‘How To Change Your Mind’ is the sound of a group who continue to grow with every release.
