After an explosive debut on Monstercat in March earlier this year, Japanese DJ and producer Masayoshi Iimori returned today with a new adrenaline-pumping single, “Losing Control.”
Known for his bass-heavy riffs and addictive drops, Masayoshi blends his signature style with intense halftime beats – citing the track’s inspiration from fellow DJ/producers such as Rohaan and Kumarion.
Masayoshi shares, “I made the Halftime idea on my Twitch and developed it into DnB. Kumarion, Rohaan, and Buunshin are heavy inspirations on this song!”
Dance music’s top tastemakers have sought after Masayoshi’s tracks for their own mixes and live shows, earning fans in everyone from Skrillex and Diplo, to Baauer, RL Grime, Porter Robinson, and more.
Masayoshi has also performed at some of the largest festivals in the world including ULTRA JAPAN alongside Skrillex, Carnage, and Mija, as well as his own live set at EDC Japan in 2019.
