New York production duo Ishaan Chaudhary & Will Curry, better known as MEMBA, launched their project almost a year and a half ago, seeking to bring together culturally influenced rhythms from around the world, and within that time span they have evolved their sound into a distinguishable yet versatile palette of songs. Fresh off their latest track on Elysian Records “Ritual,” they return today with their latest trap-infused single, “Heat of the Moment,” featuring GIIA and Hoosh.
Elements of tribal trap signature to MEMBA permeate seamlessly throughout the song, while adding a chill melody well suited for the soulful vocals of GIIA and hip-hop influenced sound of Hoosh, creating a radio friendly single with an almost cinematic flair. It’s the latest addition to their arsenal of high caliber songs, further contributing to their vision of creating worldly music that transgresses geographical boundaries.
