Spotify sure knows how to celebrate the end of the year, by thanking its users in a series of hilarious billboard ads across the globe.
Just a month to go before its the end of 2016. With all the crazy things that have happened this year, its safe to say that its been a ‘weird’ 2016. Just like as most companies compile their year-end data to reveal their performance stats, Spotify too had a chunk load of user data to sieve through. What they did with it… well lets just say was a bit ‘fun’.
As you’ll see below, Spotify took some of the most weirdest and funny stats it could find to come up with a bunch of billboard ads, part of their biggest global campaign yet, to post all across the globe’s major metropolitan cities. The ads used aggregate data, and even some individual data, to generate headlines such as:
Now I don’t know about you, but I think its pretty impressive what Spotify have done here by using big data to come up with such an ingenious marketing plan.
