Inspired by the French Wave of the 1990s, Nomdecode Spartacus are Parisien Duo Simon Beaudoux and Martin Chourrout (of Exsonvaldes and Ravages) both on a mission to bring filtered basslines and hypnotic grooves back to both the dance floor and the street alike.
‘Hum Hum’, their second single to date, will get your temperature rising, feet stomping and blood pumping at just the right tempo. Doubling down on their dance floor appeal, Nomdecode share this funky and highly fun house track reminding us that France is still home to the masters of this groovy and invigorating genre.
Although mostly an instrumental the single is a real ear-worm thanks to the guitar riff that runs throughout, as well as a fairly legendary build up which climaxes into a finale lifted by horns.
The duo promise 2022 will be a year full of new releases and interesting projects from them one of which is a prestigious feature in the latest version of Tetris, called Tetris® Beat.
