Following on from her release alongside Mollie Collins for Remedies on the highly esteemed, UKF, Ruth Royall is back fronting Paper Dragon for a huge collaboration with Grafix for Forget The Rain.

Since their explosion onto the Bristol drum and bass scene, Paper Dragon have been paving their way to success with a stream of highly regarded releases. Their recent singles Be Free, Loving You, Self Control and Closer earnt them Spotify editorial support on the likes of New Music Friday, Run N Bass and Massive Drum and Bass, whilst their Birds of Paradise EP went onto be remixed by the likes of Emba, Sakurra and Coastal.

With the ‘Dragons’ body of work featuring U2, Kate Bush, Massive Attack, Rick Rubin, Brian Eno, Underworld, KOAN Sound, TC, Distorted Minds, NAO, Mount Kimbie and Fred V & Grafix it’s no surprise the band is a one to watch.

Meanwhile, Ruth Royall – whose soulful vocals soar over their releases – fronts Paper Dragon and has also found success within the circuit through her solo career. Her voice has been heard on the airwaves with BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, and has even received a nomination for Best Vocalist at the Drum and Bass Awards. What’s more, her popular singles have amassed millions of streams and have even taken Ruth to collaborate with some of the biggest names in drum and bass including, Pola & Bryson and Ekko & Sidetrack and Grafix.

Once again reuniting with the latter, Ruth and the Dragon’s are poised to deliver their biggest year yet.. Previously famed for his work with Fred V, Grafix spent the last 10 years firmly within the drum and bass world, before he exclusively signed with Hospital Records. Since then, he has released banger after banger, earning him props from the likes of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Wilkinson, Subfocus and Friction, to name a few.

An all Bristol affair, Forget The Rain couples Grafix and Paper Dragon’s impeccable production skills with Ruth’s alluring voice. Featuring Ruth’s emotive vocals which soar over rife with rattling bass and high-intensity drum patterns, Forget The Rain brings both heat and sunshine to playlists and airwaves alike.
