Following a defining trip to Costa Rica at the beginning of his career, Lex forged a friendship with local household names Tekes (formally 1 half of Mobius Strum, and the brains behind esteemed label Half Seas Over) and N.i.M, who is having a real moment right now with recent appearances alongside Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna at BPM festival. Now inviting them to In Tune for a very special family affair release, he once again exemplifies his reputation as a dance music innovator with his impeccable A&R decisions.
Tekes serves up hypnotic vibes on ‘Manzanillo’ with quirky synth textures and pulsing bass, whilst N.i.M delivers a bumping, tribal-inspired cut with ‘Abya Yala’.
