Mainstage dance headliner 3LAU’s puts out his first release on Ophelia with his remix of “Falling Fast” off Seven Lions’ debut album.

The track is his first release in 3 months and brings his signature club and radio topping sound to the fan favorite album track. Gripping piano chords, rhythmic synth melodies and an energetic, driving house beat works seamlessly with singer/songwriter GG Magree’s longing lyrics.

3LAU will be sharing his royalties to existing 3LAU token holders via his company Royal, the NFT marketplace where fans can partner with artists and own a piece of music they believe in.

The original has been heavily supported on New Music Friday, New Music Friday USA and New Music Friday Dance, Bass Arcade, Future Dance Hits, Melodic Bass, Fresh EDM, EDM Bangers and BPM radio to name a few.

The remix releases just in time for the kick off for Seven Lions’ +40 show album tour selling over 15,000-20,000 tickets in massive venues including LA State Historic Park, Tacoma Dome, and 3 Brooklyn Mirage shows.

Washington-based producer Seven Lions has never had an issue pushing the boundaries of electronic music to fulfill his creative vision. Catching a break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records, and Monstercat over the past ten years. After releasing on a plethora of labels, Seven Lions created Ophelia Records in 2018 which has since become a leading independent label in the melodic bass subgenre.

Since its emergence only four years ago, the label has already made an imprint in the dance music scene having been voted Dancing Astronaut’s Label Of The Year in 2021, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers and showcases around the country. His productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, and HARD.

In 2022, Seven Lions finally released his highly anticipated debut album ‘Beyond The Veil’. The original album debuted at #2 on Apple Music Dance Releases, reached #9 on Spotify’s Album Debut Charts and #3 on Billboard’s Dance Pop/Electro new releases. Each of the album’s lead singles was supported on BPM radio and the album earned 63 editorial placements with the covers of Spotify’s mint and mint
Canada and Amazon’s Fresh EDM.

3LAU’S music career started small at college fraternity parties but he quickly rose to fame, performing at sold-out shows around the world and amassing over 1 billion music streams. Outside of the studio, 3LAU is a must-see live performer, and has appeared at major music festivals such as EDC Vegas / Korea / Orlando, Ultra, Electric Zoo, Lollapalooza, and Life Is Beautiful.

An early crypto adopter, Justin has been an open advocate for building the investable layer of music on blockchains since 2017. He has seen great success experimenting with tokenizing his own music – to date, he has sold over $20M in primary sales from his NFT drops. After those experiments and navigating complex copyright laws and industry inequities, Justin felt moved to start Royal. By broadening access to music ownership, Royal is tackling the music industry’s decades-old value chain problem – something Justin experienced first-hand – and offering artists a way to make money off of what they create while maintaining ownership and control. Royal officially launched in January of 2022 with releases from artists including NAS, Diplo, and the Chainsmokers.
