It’s been an incredible year for the founding father of Dutch house music, Sidney Samson, with his original breakthrough hit Riverside being reworked TWICE by fellow legends Tujamo – Riverside Reloaded and Oliver Heldens – Riverside 2099.
Today he releases the perfect follow-up track, Soldier, bringing in the talent of fellow Dutch breakout DJ, Gwise. Soldier is out now on Tiësto’s label, Musical Freedom.
A track with the trademark military precision and creative versatility we’ve come to expect from Sidney Samson, Soldier is an unashamedly show stopping track. Gwise’s influences are intertwined throughout and display an exciting chemistry for this pioneering pair.

In addition to racking up over 200 million YouTube plays for his original tracks, Sidney Samson has a long history of successful collaborations, with Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Lil Jon and Will.I.Am, using his signature house production with flavours of hip hop, dancehall and moombah.
It’s an equally pivotal year for Gwise who has now opened for some of the biggest global names including Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes. His tracks have been played by the likes of Tiësto, Afrojack and Hardwell, and Soldier has already been supported by David Guetta, Hardwell, W&W, Yves V and more as momentum builds for this collaboration.
