Ternion Sound reveals a divergence from their signature bass-forward style with the release of the first album single, “Artifice,” on September 21st. This hauntingly beautiful track is crafted with heavy distortion placed against piercing melodies reflecting the anxieties of the modern world. The innovation doesn’t stop there; on October 4th, fans are in for another treat as the group introduces a unique break beat/jump up track, “Amplify,” that stands out by offering the distinct vocals of rising Atlanta based talent Khallil, adding a fresh and dynamic twist to the genre.
The title, coined by Ternion’s Andrew, is derived from the provocative sentiment: “they will show us how to ruin the world.” In today’s age, where convenience and consumption overshadow genuine experiences, ‘Digital Artifice’ is an expression of rebellion.
