Forging a path to become a mainstay in the melodic house realm, singer-songwriter and producer YULA returned to the label today with his highly anticipated debut Monstercat EP, ‘Journey To Ascendance.’
Inspired by YULA’s personal journey to self acceptance, the six-track package utilizes ethereal timbres and wistful instrumentals characterizing his recognizable genre-bending style.
Including recent releases “Wish You Stayed,” “Collide,” and “Nobody Knows,” the EP features three new tracks, with “Feel Again” taking listeners through an arrangement of dreamy chords and emotive melodies that echo motifs of self discovery.
“Losing Control” transitions to an upbeat house tempo, while “Journey To Ascendance” closes the EP with echoing synths and environmental influences that bring YULA’s creative universe to life.
