Shortly after announcing the dates for their official return in 2022, Electric Forest dropped a stacked lineup, ensuring fans that after two years of having to stay apart, they have all plans of making 2022 a memorable edition.
Set to be hosted from June 23-26th, 2022, in its home in Rothbury, Michigan, the festival will be headlined by the likes of Disclosure, Griz, Porter Robinson, Fisher, Big Gigantic, and 3 days of The String Cheese Incident, to name a few.
However, any attendee of Electric Forest in the past knows it’s about more than just the headliners. The lineup also includes names like Clozee, Yung Bae, Wax Motif, Whethan, Surf Mesa, Moore Kismet, and a whole lot more. The lineup also included the now-late CharlietheFirst who shockingly passed away yesterday at the young age of 25. *(Link previous article I just sent about this once posted.)*

Reminiscing over the past 10 years and getting ready for the upcoming 2022 edition, the festival released a short documentary titled “A Million Shining Lights: 10 Years of Electric Forest.” If watching this doesn’t get you hyped for the 2022 return to the forest, we’re not sure what will!
Unfortunately, however, there were a very limited number of tickets that went on sale last Friday and are now already sold out. This was caused by tickets from the 2020 edition which kept rolling over as subsequent editions had to be canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and a very limited number of attendees who chose not to roll them over and get a refund instead.
The festival has currently not announced any of their safety protocols when it comes to Covid-19 and mentioned that they will be monitoring the situation and will update attendees of that and announce those policies in Spring of 2022.
