Calling all DJs and EDM fans, here’s your chance to become one of the hottest new Indian DJs out there. The ‘UMM CIRCUIT’ is a DJ competition brought to you by fashion brand UMM (Underground Music Movement) that serves as a platform for aspiring DJ’s in India to showcase their skills and passion for music.
The event will see the most inspiring DJ’s meet in 5 cities i.e. Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Ahmedabad with the help of professionals from the industry acting as mentors and selecting the finalists; DJ Tuhin Mehta, Nawed Khan, DJ Clement, DJ Mash, Julia Bliss, DJ Skip and DJ Ivan.
Four DJ’s from each city will be selected via votes and best picks from mentors for regional rounds on:
• 30th September in Mumbai
• 1st October in Ahmedabad
• 8th October in Delhi
• 9th October in Pune
• 14th October in Bangalore
1 winner form each city will meet for the finale to be held in Bangalore on 16th October at VR mall. What’s the highlight? All finalists get the big opportunity to open for Dutch based headlining act of the event, Sick Individuals.
The winner of the competition receives:
• Professional DJ gear
• One year “Artist Management contract” with Submerge
• Opening Set with International act at the finale.
• Pro DJ/producer course in their city.
The finale winning DJ and runner up shall also receive exclusive gear by UMM.
