As you all may know, this weekend isn’t gonna be just any weekend, it’s the Ultra weekend, and with UMF comes UMFTV, Ultra’s Live Broadcast that brings all the action and energy from Miami right into your computer screens.
So why watch UMFTV? Why bother spending your whole day (or night) watching Ultra Live? Well we’ve got you five good reasons right here!
1. IDs
Yepp, you got that right, IDs. IDs everywhere!
Ultra Miami is the year’s first major festival and is the prime time for all DJs to test out and showcase their new tracks to the world. It’s like a trailer to their releases throughout the year. Ultra is known for bringing out the best in every DJs set may it be Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren or DJ Snake. And if you’re as big a fan as we are, you may want to keep track of your favourite DJs set timings.
2. Axwell Λ Ingrosso
Yes, that’s right. SHM broke up. But guess what, 2 of them are back together, and they’re going to be headlining the mainstage this Saturday! Now all we know is that the Swedish duo have been working long and hard on their upcoming album. So far only three singles have been released with no other information. What better place than Ultra to drop new tracks and release new information about their upcoming album. I mean its almost SHM all over again, almost. With a limited touring schedule not many of us around the world have seen the duo back since their ‘One Last Tour’ two years ago, now we’ve got the chance to see them LIVE… through our computer screens that is.
3. A State Of Trance 700
ASOT 700 is yet again taking place at the famed Carl Cox arena at UMF Miami. But how is it different from every year that you should tune in to watch it live? Eric Prydz & Andrew Bayer that’s why!
Prydz is set to return to the UMF stage this year and trust me, you do not wanna miss out on Eric Prydz! Bayer on the other hand isn’t known for his touring schedule as he makes a rare appearance for the event. Other artists to dawn the stage will be Mark Sixma, Heatbeat, Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk and of course the man himself, Armin Van Buuren.
4. Culture & Diversity
With the vibrant atmosphere of Ultra Miami, it’s hard to miss out on the variant culture and diversity that can be observed in the crowd. Ultra brings out EDM fans from all across the globe with flags flying out and painted on faces. If anything you could play ‘Spot your flag’, where you spot your countries’ flag as many times as you can in a span of an hour.
5. Beeewbs
Oh yes, your pronounced that right, Beeeeeewbs.
As the years have passed by the Ultra cameramen have become more ‘open to suggestion’. With the beautiful ladies all across the crowd it’s pretty hard for the men to control themselves I suppose. Nevertheless Ultra 2015 will definitely be inviting in some more eye candy for their online viewers. It does get boring to look at the DJ all the time now doesn’t it ;)
