Should we say it’s been a hard 2019 for the Ultra Music Festival organisers? Hell yes.
Over the course of approximately the last 8 months, we heard news about a lot of things related to the Ultra Music Festival – and all of them are news that any music festival would not want about it.
After the huge drama regarding UMF’s venue change in Miami, from Bayfront Park to Virginia Key, and then the news about the Ultra Singapore festival being moved indoors, to the last minute cancellation of the main headliner Swedish House Mafia at Ultra Korea, things have rather been difficult for the organisers.
Now, the story continues with Ultra Europe. With less than 2 weeks to go, the Europe event will shift from Stadion Poljud to Park Mladeži in Split, Croatia. This is the aftermath of complications with Hajduk Split, the soccer club. The discussion was regarding the destruction of the field in the stadium and also the non – replacement of it since last year.
The event will now happen at the new venue and will commence on the 12th of July and end on the 14th. Huge acts like Swedish House Mafia, Above & beyond and more will be joining the party.
