Tomin Tomovic is a DJ/Producer based in Solvakia.
His musical style has naturally developed over time due to his various achievements and exposure to different musical influences. He primarily favors deep house and tech house, but his current sets and tracks also incorporate elements of ambient, chill-out electronica, progressive, and dub techno. Despite this diversity, he maintains a deep, trippy, hypnotic, and emotional atmosphere throughout his performances.
Tomin has a strong connection to electronic club music, which is reflected in his sensitive approach to it and his engaging communication with the audience during his energetic and technically sophisticated sets. This results in an excellent show and a high-quality musical experience for clubbers and listeners alike.
From 2011 to 2014, he was involved in organizing big club events in Slovakia, including Synthesia and Dynamic Sound, which focused on sophisticated underground house and techno music. He had the opportunity to support and play alongside well-known DJs such as Hernán Cattáneo, Mauro Picotto, Henry Saiz, Guy J, King Unique, Eelke Kleijn, Andrey Pushkarev, Jay Lumen, Hollen, Luke Fair, Corvin Dalek, Peter Makto & Gregory S, Snilloc, Daniel Meister, and Paul Sparkes.
Tomin is also a prolific producer under his stagename Tomin Tomovic (for deep house) and Alpha Hypnotica (for downtempo, chill-out electronica). His tracks, remixes, and collaborations with Sensoreal have received positive feedback and support from other respected DJs and producers. He has released music on well-respected labels such as Traum Schallplatten, Motek Music, Truesounds Music Bonzai Progressive, Sound Avenue, DeepStitched, Stellar Fountain (Astrowave), Suffused, Mistique, and his own Seta Label. His track “Respect Our Mother Earth” was featured on Hernan Cattaneo’s 261st episode of the Resident showcase on Delta 90.3 FM.
Tomin participated in the International DJ Competition (IDC) 2012 organized by Tribalmixes.com, where his mixed set was judged as the fourth best out of all the sets. He has also had the opportunity to showcase his talent on various radio programs, including 4Elements and FreshFM/ScenaFM on Radio FM in Slovakia, Truesounds.hu on the Hungarian broadcast Justmusic.fm, Digital Konfusion Mixshow on Radio FM4, and the popular FriskyRadio.com (“Feelin’ Frisky?”).
In 2015, Tomin joined the SETA Label CREW and is currently the leader and A&R of the label. He is involved in organizing SETAp showcases under the label’s flag and also performs as the resident DJ, supporting international guests with his warm-up or after-hours sets.
