With anticipation hitting fever pitch around Thailand’s most spectacular music festival – Gravity Thailand, the full line up can now be revealed.
Gravity Thailand 2016 will be touching down on the 23rd January 2016 in the heart of Bangkok with a 50 tonne mechanical spider, 50 foot fireballs, groundbreaking stage design, thunderous C02 jets, and 360 degree multi sensory immersion, all set against the mesmerizing backdrop of the city’s imposing skyline.
At Gravity, a unique city centre event and one of Asia’s most cutting edge festivals, Arcadia Spectacular’s breathtaking production will be mirrored by a 100 meter, custom designed, surround sound field that locks audiences into a new dimension of sonic experience.
Headlined by some of dance music’s most dynamic, innovative and electric performers, the full musical spectrum of Gravity Thailand has finally been unveiled.
First up are Canadian duo DVBBS who have set global dance floors ablaze with such heavyweight cuts as ‘Tsunami’ racking up 230 million YouTube plays and contributing to a stellar ranking in the 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 poll where they stormed into 16th position.
EDM giant and electronic music legend Kaskade will be stepping up to the controls following a spellbinding few years that have seen residencies in Las Vegas alongside an unstoppable rampage through the world’s most exhilarating clubs and festivals.
Master of raucous electro DJ BL3ND has achieved international recognition for his riotous DJ sets while his YouTube plays soar into the millions and his razor sharp style is heralded by some of music’s most influential institutions. He’s the record-holder on Billboard’s Uncharted Chart, holding the top spot for 62 weeks and he was named Soundcloud ‘Artist of the Year.’
The one and only Must Die will be laser guiding the Spider through the bone shaking frequencies of epic bass. With scene shattering releases on the likes of Never Say Die, Ultra, Dim Mak, Play Me, Mad Decent and Atlantic Records, he tours extensively, and has supported the likes of Datsik and Excision when not headlining his own events.
Zomboy is one of the biggest stars in today’s bass scene following the runaway success of his debut LP “The Outbreak” on Never Say Die Records in 2014. Mixing up styles, vibes and flavours into a breakneck fusion, his scintillating sets are already etched into dance floor folklore.
No-one knows the Spider better and no-one can intuitively channel every last ounce of its potential quite like Arcadia’s very own Sound System. Tearing up the Bangkok night with scorching tunes, sizzling flair and pulsating energy, they are back at the helm after closing out last year’s Gravity Thailand in unforgettable style.
