Next up on Claque Musique is none other than Donato Dozzy with a brace of brand new tracks.
Dozzy is a peerless Italian techno crafstman who is part of Voices From the Lake with Neel. He is about to release a live album on Editions Mego as part of that duo, but he is also known for his superbly crafted, intricately designed solo sounds. Here he offers up two more sublime tracks, and both offer something completely different. The first is a super deep and hypnotic house cut with rolling drums, liquid synths and heady, seductive little hi hats and hooks that really relieve you of all stress and lower you far into the laid-back four four groove. The second is a bit of experimental sound design, whereby Dozzy manipulates a doromb, an instrument fron Hungary. It echoes and reverts, slowly gurgles away and that is it. Just the sort of thing that only brave DJs would play, it rounds out another essential chapter in the wonderful story of Donato Dozzy.
