Omer Grinker & Noam Levy – Relations [Available April 23]

Next up on the Parallel label is fast rising talent Omer Grinker, who hooks up with Noam Levy for a tasteful EP that comes ahead of Grinker’s full length later in the year.

He serves up three tracks that come with two great remixes and this EP follows his debut on the label in 2013. Israel has proved a hotbed for electronic music of late, with talent such as Guy Gerber, Shlomi Aber, Guy J and more all making quite an impression on the global scene. Omer Grinker is the next name to be added to that fine cannon and he has a sound that bares all the hallmarks of his fellow countrymen – serene and classy deep house with real feeling.

Up first, Alone is a moody track with great melodies and an inviting groove that really goes deep and spiritual. Avantroots / Desolat man Pablo Bolivar remixes this one into a darker, more stripped back and spare tech house roller with smeared pads and real feeling. Next up is Relations, another brilliantly deep house track with ticking percussion, louche drums and a great sense of space as it rolls on with tons of warm feelings. Live act, Dj duo and Parallel label bosses Monkey Brothers then tackle this one and flip into into a haunted little roller with cute melodies, mysterious vocal patches and a supple sense of rhythm. Lastly, So Much Faith is the jazzy, creamy, romantic house number that closes out this EP in style.

Stay tuned for the previews.
