Artur Januszkiewicz and Alan Brant hail from Chicago, a fitting place for two house music connoisseurs to lay their foundation.
From an early age music was an integral part of their lives, but as they discovered the sound of house at the age of nineteen they found their cause. Now, two years later, The Architects are constantly in the studio designing their own take on Chicago’s greatest export: house music.
Being young and innovative the duo keep refining the musical framework of their hometown and now they release the first blueprints to it all. With Blueprints EP they reach a next level Chicago sound by incorporating the more mechanical influences as well as holding on to the warm foundation of old school deep house.
As Malmö & Stockholm based label HMWL explosively expands it is a natural step to look across the narrow sea and focus on the birthplace of Chicago house. When stumbling on the productions of Artur and Alan it became clear that the duo’s attitude and sound goes hand in hand with the general attitude of Malmö Crime City natives.
