The tastemaking Grin Recordings is very proud to present ‘Full English’ the remixes. This package contains three hard hitting remixes from the legendary Harry Romero, killer groove maker DJ PP, and the uber talented new-comer, Barber and also includes a brand new 2015 remaster of the original track by Tim Cullen & Made By Pete.
Subliminal records legend Harry Romero needs no further introduction; he makes full fat club grooves and that’s just what he does here with his remix. It is bulky, sweaty and grooves. Then comes Barber, who goes for a more deep and loose limbed house remix with groaning bass and seductive synths.
DJ PP, for his part, goes rather old school and slinky with his subtle and slow burning, skipping house effort. Closing out the package is a top remaster job of the original track which on it’s initial release in December 2014 picked up support from the likes of Weiss, Nice 7, Bushwaka Prok & Fitch & Joyce Muniz, proving just how essential it remains with its manic stabs, fluid sense of groove and soulful infused vocals.
This is a great package that breathes new life in to the original, which itself is still a sure fire bomb.
