Having introduced themselves on Midication’s ‘Cold Tunes’ compilation last year, Mancunian bass duo Besankah have been holed up in the studio refining their skills and their sound.
For their first single on the label Josh and Jack have joined forces with vocalist Penny Nicholls to create the powerful ‘Undercover’. Melodic and moving, the track weaves and drops around its killer vocal, creating a real sense of urgency and drawing comparison with luminaries such as Flume.
This is a track that sounds perfect in the club, on the radio, in the car… a real song that announces Besankah as more than just another production team. This is an act with real potential and real ambition. And if they keep delivering tracks like this then they won’t stay undercover for long.
