Mr. Belt & Wezol, Freejak – Somebody To Love (Original Mix) [Spinnin’ Deep]

Mr. Belt & Wezol are surely on fire this year. Kicking things off with their late 2014 release ‘Time’, followed by the huge club hit ‘Finally’ (which made it to Beatport’s #2 spot for quite a while), the Dutch duo now returns for another blast from the past with a rework of 60s classic ‘Somebody To Love’.

Working with upcoming UK producer Freejak, they’ve created another blast from the past, this time revisiting the 60s classic ‘Somebody To Love’ by Jefferson Airplane.

With the lyrics kept intact, the rest of the track has gotten a life of its own, moving straight into club territory, working the floor like a madman. It’s already creating a stir on the Ibiza clubs as well as festivals all over the world, gaining support from DJs like Oliver Heldens, Avicii and The Magician as well as radio plays from guys like Martin Garrix and Nicky Romero.

Looking at earlier successes, ‘Somebody To Love’ seems destined for endless summer fame, a 60s tune reborn in an extraordinary 2015 dance classic.
