Simon Lee & Alvin have released their new single “The Other Side (I Need You)” exclusively on Los Angeles based record label Straight Up! Music’s Amsterdam 2015 compilation.

“The Other Side (I Need You)” is an emotional vocal record that tells a bittersweet story of undying love so pure but is beyond reach. The track features beautiful vocals from singer/songwriter Lokka Vox.

‘Time goes by and all I can do is think about you. How did you know that I, would give us another try? Say goodbye to your love coz I need you on the other side’.

Complete with a haunting breakdown and heavy progressive drop, this record has all the makings of a club and festival favourite which can transcend to radio airplay.

The single is the 7th release for the Malaysian DJ/producer duo. The two friends have been working on music together since 2007. Their tracks have been supported by heavyweights such as Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, MaRLo, JES, and Tritonal. Their previous releases have charted on Beatport and received acclaim reviews from esteemed music sites.

This year, their weekly FM mixshow hit the 400th episode milestone.

“The Other Side (I Need You)” will be presented by Straight Up! Music during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the leading electronic music platform and the biggest club festival in the world. The ADE features 300 events and 2000 DJs over 5 days in 80 clubs and venues.
