Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are showing love and loyalty, both to each other and their famous friends. The couple was spotted enjoying an intimate night out at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City, attending the off-Broadway production Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes starring none other than their A-list buddy Hugh Jackman.
Despite Blake’s ongoing legal war with Justin Baldoni, the vibe between her and Ryan was all smiles, hand-holding, and public support.
Lively, 37, brought her fashion game as usual in an edgy leather outfit paired with studded boots and a Chanel patchwork purse. Reynolds, 48, went for laid-back charm in a maroon jacket, camel slacks, and crisp white sneakers. After the show, they greeted Jackman backstage with big hugs, clearly proud of his performance alongside Ella Beatty, daughter of screen legends Warren Beatty and Annette Bening.
Earlier that day, Blake had been seen solo in NYC with her quirky $5,700 Judith Leiber pizza-shaped purse. And over the weekend, she turned heads at the Another Simple Favor premiere, despite a wardrobe hiccup when her spray tan rubbed off on her pastel gown. Still, her chemistry with Reynolds on the red carpet didn’t go unnoticed, with body language experts pointing out the magnetic pull she has on the Deadpool actor.
Through all the glam, Blake is still battling off-screen drama. She filed a sexual harassment lawsuit in December 2024 against Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star and director. Baldoni has denied the accusations and fired back with a massive $400 million defamation suit against both Blake and Ryan.
Adding to the heat, Hugh Jackman and Blake’s BFF Taylor Swift are reportedly going to be subpoenaed in the case. But for now, Blake and Ryan are keeping it classy and close-knit, turning what could’ve been a tense week into a loving night out supporting their inner circle.
