Brittany Cartwright Wants a Bravo Dating Show After Jax Taylor Split

Brittany Cartwright is done waiting around, the 36-year-old reality star, best known from Vanderpump Rules, is officially back in the dating pool – and she’s not keeping it low-key.

After splitting from husband Jax Taylor in 2024, Brittany is embracing her single era and making it clear that she’s ready to find love again… maybe even on TV.

Talking to People, she didn’t hold back: “Mama is ready to date!” And yep, she’s totally down for the cameras to follow. “Bravo, give me a dating show, I’m here for it. I am down. Make me the Bachelorette!” Honestly, it sounds like reality TV gold waiting to happen.

Since calling it quits with Jax, Brittany’s gone on a few casual dates here and there but nothing serious yet. Still, she’s hopeful. “I deserve to have butterflies again,” she said, adding that she’s just looking for someone nice. “It doesn’t even have to be anything fancy. Something sweet, something small, will make my day.” After years of ups and downs, that simplicity sounds like a breath of fresh air.

Of course, dating after a public breakup comes with baggage – and Brittany isn’t ignoring the red flags. She says she’s open to having fun but is clear about what she wants long-term. “I got to make sure that it’s somebody that loves kids. That’s something that’s very important to me.” Her son Cruz, now three, is clearly her top priority.

Earlier this year, Brittany opened up about her painful relationship with Jax. She revealed she spent years trying to support him through his personal struggles, calling him “an addict” and admitting she tried over and over to help him get better. “No one wants Jax to be better more than I do,” she said on the When Reality Hits podcast. “I was deeply and madly in love with him… and I tried very, very hard.”

Now though, Brittany seems to be finding her voice again – and isn’t afraid to speak her truth or chase happiness on her own terms. Whether it’s dating apps, cute coffee dates, or a Bravo-backed Bachelorette reboot, one thing’s clear: she’s not holding back anymore.
