Camille Razat is officially saying goodbye to Emily in Paris. The 31-year-old actress, who played the beloved Camille on the Netflix hit, took to Instagram to announce her departure after an unforgettable run. In a heartfelt post, Camille explained her decision to leave the show and open a new chapter in her career.
“After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris,” she wrote, sharing some throwback photos from her time on the show. “It’s been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories.”
Camille expressed her gratitude to the Emily in Paris team, including show creator Darren Star and the teams at Netflix and Paramount Pictures. “I’m deeply grateful for their trust and the opportunity to bring Camille to life,” she continued. However, she made it clear that while her character’s storyline had come to a natural end, she would always remain a part of the Emily in Paris world.
For fans of the show, Camille’s exit marks the end of an era, but she’s leaving on a positive note. “This character has meant a lot to me, and I feel that her storyline has naturally come to an end,” she said, adding that it felt like the right time to explore new horizons.
While Camille will no longer be part of the show, she’s certainly not slowing down. She recently wrapped two exciting projects, Nero for Netflix and Les Disparues de la Gare for Disney+. But what’s perhaps most exciting is her new venture into the world of production. Camille has launched her own production company, @tazar_production, where she’ll focus on producing music videos and short films. They’re even working on their first feature film, which she’s incredibly passionate about.
“I leave the show with nothing but love and admiration for the cast, crew, and fans who have supported us along the way,” she said. It’s clear Camille is ready to shift gears, but she’s leaving with nothing but positive memories.
Meanwhile, the future of Emily in Paris is looking bright. Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel on the show, recently teased that season five will be the best one yet. “We’re starting filming in May, and I think it’s the best season so far,” Lucas said, sparking excitement among fans.
It looks like the Emily in Paris train is still rolling, just without Camille on board.
