Starting the year in fine form, RMA returns with the release of his highly anticipated debut artist album, titled – Agha.
With the LP featuring eight cuts, Agha sees RMA deliver a standout body of work & the album traverses across an array of Melodic House & Techno – underlining his production pedigree, in fitting fashion. So, as he continues to amass an ever-increasing international fanbase, we caught up with RMA as he enters the next chapter in his evolution as an artist.
T.H.E – RMA, we wish you a happy new year & how’s 2024 started for you?
RMA – Thank you very much, the new year has got off to a great start. I was on vacation in my home country of Turkey.
T.H.E – Congratulations on your debut artist album, Agha – when did you first begin work on the LP?
RMA – I started producing the songs for my album Agha about 1.5 years ago.
T.H.E – Embracing a varied blend of sounds across Techno & Melodic House, how long did the album take for you to complete?
RMA – It took a little over a year.
T.H.E – Seeing each track named to reflect your Turkish heritage, how much has your homeland influenced you musically?
RMA – My home country Turkey has a long-standing musical culture and I always draw inspiration from it for my music.
T.H.E – With you releasing on the likes of Spinnin’, Controversia, Soave & Natura Viva, what’s been your proudest moment to date as an artist?
RMA – When my track ‘Show U’ reached 1 million streams on Spotify and continuing to get positive messages from my fans about my music.
T.H.E – And lastly, as 2024 gets fully underway, are there any other future release plans you can share with us?
RMA – This year, I’m gonna release at least 4 tracks on exciting labels as well as my second album…
