Production duo Crystal Skies are collaborating with singer, songwriter, and producer Amidy for the picturesque single “Nirvana” on Lost In Dreams.
The release marks the first collaboration for the two label fixtures and serves as a follow-up to Crystal Skies’ latest single “Heart’s Still Beating,” and their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Not Since When.’
Guiding listeners down a lush sonic path towards transcendence, “Nirvana” is a powerful and upbeat electropop anthem. Amidy chimes in with his own excitement, and provides additional context about the song’s meaning: “I’m so happy Crystal Skies and I were finally able to collaborate together and create this beauty of a song. The idea of ‘Nirvana’ is obviously a well known word, but in this case, I think it resonates even more in this day and age. In this digital world, we constantly compare and search for something that isn’t actually there or ends up being the true meaning of happiness. All the while, we are constantly being bombarded with the idea that we aren’t enough, so finding a place of nirvana and truly being happy with who you are and where you are in life is so important.”
