J-Hope Says BTS Reunion Could Happen Sooner Than You Think

J-Hope just gave ARMYs everywhere a reason to start counting down.

In a recent interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, the BTS star revealed that a reunion could be right around the corner, just as soon as all seven members complete their mandatory military service in South Korea.

The rapper and dancer, who wrapped up his 18-month service last October, is already looking ahead to the future of BTS. He’s the second member to finish military duties, following Jin, and he’s clearly eager to reunite with RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, and Jin. “We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future,” he said. “I think it’s going to be a massive energy.”

The biggest milestone? June. That’s when the remaining members are expected to complete their service, and J-Hope is hyped. With the group’s official hiatus nearing its end, fans could be in for a major comeback, especially now that all the guys have explored solo careers.

J-Hope talked about how working separately has helped them grow individually. “Over time, we each refined our unique identities,” he said. “The funny thing for me is when our identities, which have taken shape in various ways, come together as BTS. I’m curious to see what [the reunion] will look like.”

He also opened up about what the military taught him. “I think it’s only natural for young people in South Korea to take on this responsibility,” he said. For J-Hope, or Jung Ho Seok, it was more than just an obligation, it was a life lesson. “I learned a different life. I got to meet people from all walks of life and received a lot of good energy. A year and a half is not short, it made me realize how meaningful my work has been.”

So if you’ve missed BTS as much as J-Hope has, just hold tight. June might just be the start of something big.
