St. Louis based DJ David Nothaker has released a brand new single – The Storm, which is now out on Monstercat.

Being inspired to produce music after attending a concert and the downloading of Logic Pro on a friend’s insistence, David began to venture into music in 2009. Having virtually no musical background David would scour the internet looking for tutorials, reading the material, message boards, and practically any information that could help him further his knowledge in dance music production. The self-taught DJ is someone who turned his casual interest into a passion and a career which now becomes the backbone of his clean and crisp production style. His music is always made with a lot of intimacy and devotion, and it shows.
Aside from his immaculate productions, Notaker emphasizes creating art that has depth beyond just the song itself — whether, in the form of strong artwork, live visuals, or music videos, his music always tells a multi-faceted story. He is intimately involved in art directing all of the visual elements of his songs, ensuring that each song explores a meaningful theme by telling a cohesive story.
His first hit record which came out in 2016, Infinite which came out on Monstercat, received great reception with over 7 million Spotify hits and was also affiliated with brands like GoPro. Other releases on the label include Gems and Shimmer. He has also produced works on Armada Music with Born in the Flames and Abyss with Mau5trap.
With support from heavyweight acts like Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, Seven Lions, Gareth Emery, Slushii, Arty, Thomas Gold, and Sander Van Doorn, Notaker is certainly a strong force that’s making its way up in the industry.
