Having embarked on a successful streak of top-notch releases, talented DJ and producer Nuri seems to show no signs of halting and is back to form this month with another powerful release by the name of ‘India’.
Having put his signature on his debut single ‘Blue Lagoon’ and following up with other exciting projects such as: ‘Reasons’, ‘Summer’, ‘Twist’ and his Beatport ‘Electro House Top 100’ chart entree ‘Right Back’, he is now seeking further success with his latest effort ‘India’.
Drawing inspirations from important names within the electronic music panorama such as: KSHMR, DVBBS, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Avicii, Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia, Nuri has devised his own musical vision, celebrating life’s vibrancy. His sound encompasses different Dance music flavours with a touch of Hip Hop roots, making Nuri a unique artist that is rapidly rising the electronic music food–chain.
Down for release on the 25th of July, 2015 ‘India’ kick off with a dark melody and a half-time drum beat which adds intensity to the track. The highly processed vocals add another level of spice before bursting into the powerful chorus, characterised by the typical Dubstep vibes and a wide array of left field effects. As the name implies, this single is also blessed with a traditional Indian music sounds which give another dimension to the production. Yuri has once again shown his versatility and refined musical vision, offering another infectious tune which will certainly continue to raise his profile in the coming months.
After signing all his previous releases to N&R Records and gaining massive results, the imprint has decided to invest in the Kenya based talent once more and ‘India’ is now part of their developing catalogue. Yuri has been given a central role within N&R Records, together with other talents such as Swaen, in an effort to push the label on an international level.
