After a record-breaking summer, London’s clubbing tour de force Studio 338 is ready to rock and roll once more in autumn. Brands and labels like VIVA Warriors, Cocoon, Art of Dark, Abode, Sankeys, Percolate and Mad Ferret will all host what is sure to be a fine season of events. By now, coming to the end of the space’s second full summer, the club has a fine reputation all throughout the UK as a place that really pushes boundaries, offers DJ exclusives, rare showcases and generally the sort of high calibre and carefully considered event that many could only dream of.
Every party in Autumn will bring all sorts of charm, colour, wild production and big-hitting DJs across all five of the spaces. These are all fitted out with on point VOID sound systems and include The Car Park as well as inside room The Basement, which is packed out with mesmeric LEDS, a compact loft space for intimate sessions and the rooftop bar The Light Lounge for chilling and chatting throughout the night. Of course, the place also boasts a huge outdoor terrace that is covered and heated throughout the colder months, so you can still experience rare bit of al fresco partying in London even in winter.
Up first, VIVA Warriors celebrate the end of summer with another sprawling BBQ party featuring an extended set on the 19th from the boss Steve Lawler as well as DirtyBird’s Claude von Stroke, French stars Point G and Djebali, and label regulars Detlef, Denney, SEFF and Anek.
The much-loved Art of Dark party then throw a summer closing on the 26th that will be an all-day all-night event on the Terrace with Romanian bigwig Petre Inspirescu joined by minimal stars Margaret Dygas, Nicolas Lutz, house outfit Mandar (live), Laurine, Colin Chiddle, Cristi Cons, Charlie Dave Kent & Iain Kemz.
On September 27th Abode throw a big first birthday party, Cocoon then reprise their role on the terrace for a second time on October 3rd with a special set from the boss, Sven Vath, that will be his only one in London for a while. After that Sankeys end summer in style on the 17th.
Up next, things get darker as Percolate & Mad Ferret team up for what is sure to be a massive and unique halloween event featuring tonnes of production and wild costumes, as well as a set from Detroit legend Moodymann. Then Regression Sessions bring their unique brand of fun down for a ‘Halloween Spooktacular’. Closing off the Halloween weekend and bringing in November is Abode with a spooky special on Sunday 1st November.
And finally, on Saturday 14th November, Sankey’s close out this epic Autumn season with a sublime deep house lineup featuring Andre Hommen, Chris Carrier, East End Dubs plus ressies Jozef K and ONNO.
