Scott Bond & Marc Mitchell – Airfoil (Remixes) [REBOOTED]

0

Scott Bond and Marc Mitchell’s ‘Airfoil’ gets a remix package that is immensely diverse and varied in its styles. What we get in the end is a remix package that you’d probably like more than the original track itself.

Standerwick takes on the track and gives us a very edgy uplifting remix that doesn’t let you rest for even a second. The piano melody from the original also features on the remix, and a massive build-up follows before the drop comes back and were all left grooving again.

Stephane Badey is up next, and his remix has a little too much bass to not jump. He takes the original and makes it into a giant dance anthem. Again, the bass is hard to miss. What we have in the end is a stunning remix.

If you need something a little soothing and easier to listen to, worry not. Splattered Implant comes to the rescue here with a psych remix that takes this track a few levels higher. He’s absolutely hit the bullseye here, especially that breakdown. It’ll leave you lost for words.

The Rebooted remix doesn’t have something very different to offer, but it’s still a very very pleasant track to listen to, thanks to the melody. It’s similar to the Standerwick remix in a few ways, but the melody sounds much better in this one. Minimal effort = decent result is what this remix is. Not bad at all.

Simon Templar gives us the last of the remixes, and this one has a very different tempo from the rest of the album. It’s quite catchy, and for some reason makes you want to listen to it on repeat. You’ll just want to shake your head and groove all the way.

You can grab the remix package on Beatport.
