As part of last week’s ASOT 650 radio show, Armin Van Buuren debuted an amazing new track by Shogun titled “Erhu”.
The melody of the song steals your attention from the moment you press play. The beautiful sound of a 2 stringed Chinese musical instrument named the “Erhu” guides listeners on a journey filled with tension and dysphoria. After creating a brilliant melody, Shogun conjured up the biggest darkest drop that we may have ever heard him use in one of his productions. The big drop is what really sets this track apart from his previous work. It’s great to see Shogun exercising all his talent and experimenting with new styles.
